In 70 AD, the Romans expelled the Israelites to other places; to Europe and to the Middle Eastern countries. This is because the Jews always revolt against the Romans and to remove/destroy their identity, they renamed Israel, Palestine, maybe after the place called Philistine.
After hundred years, the place was devoid of Jews and this encouraged Arabs from Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, etc., to occupy the vacant land.
Unfortunately, after WW II, the Israelites begun to return to their country but found their land now occupied by other people. Of course, the Arabs insisted that the land is theirs because the former occupants vacated the land. Q: The Arabs do not know that the Israelis were forcibly ejected from their land by the Romans? Q: The Romans can just go scot-free for this nasty deed? Imo, Rome/Italy should compensate the Israelis for this. Especially Rome who inherited the power and prestige of the Roman Legions.
This is the problem that Rome created in Canaan. They created a problem, so it is only fair that they should help diffuse this powder keg. Blood is in their hands.
Q: Is it right that the Israelis be dissuaded from claiming the whole land, including the whole of Jerusalem? This should be decided by a world body like the UN, but the UN is such a worthless body.
Where is the united nations? There are so many conflicts on Earth and we call it the united nations?
Even the two Islamic countries, Saudi Arabia and Iran are unofficially at war with each other. United nations is a misnomer. I have another name for the UN. - @$%!&*
.**This is my plan for a more peaceful Israel. It may be painful at first but after dozens of years, the people would get use to the division of Israel. The whole of the west bank will be occupied by Israelis and the Arabs transfer to a place that will be called South Bank. While God (YHWH) expressly stated in the bible that the land of Israel will be for the Israelis forever, we cannot take sides with the two warring brothers because they are the grandchildren of Abraham.
There will be no problem with the Grand mosque; it could be transferred to the south, brick by brick.
The whole of the Arabic nations should help in establishing this Palestinian land together with help from EU and the USA and other rich nations.
There will be no lasting peace unless the two tribes are separated from each other Who's the stuxxx entity who started/proposed the two-state one country policy? They/it deserve a kick in the ....
